A three-day meeting in Málaga for researchers involved in modeling, numerical analysis, and scientific computation.
To celebrate the French scientific relationship with the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal), the French CNRS has created an International Research Project called PICASSO for "hyPerbolIC models, numerical AnalysiS and Scientific cOmputation" for 5 years. All researchers who work or have worked with French collaborators on modelling, numerical analysis and scientific calculation are de facto part of PICASSO and can benefit from it. PICASSO's main goal is to expand, enhance, re-enforce, and foster the relationship by funding workshops, exchanges, visits, etc.
As a kick-off meeting, we propose with our counterparts from Malaga and Coimbra to organize a workshop from March 24 to 26, 2025 in Malaga, Spain.
The objectives of this workshop are 0- listen to the latest research developments over 3 days (20-25 presentations); 1- to re-launch, re-warm, re-energize or create relationships between us; 2- measure the vitality of our scientific community in these three countries; 3- have a good time, get to know each other better, meet new generations, etc.
You can already pre-register by following the "Registration" link on the website. Based on your responses, we'll draw up a list of speakers, posters and free listeners.
