The team from Portugal got three bronze medals and a honourable mention in the 2015 International Mathematical Olympiad. This year the competition was considered to be one of the most tough editions of the recent years. The team members were Bruno Carvalho (year 11, Matosinhos), Francisco Andrade (year 12, Matosinhos), Henrique Aguiar (year 12, Aveiro), Henrique Navas (year 10, Lisboa), Henrique Santos (year 12, Coimbra), and Nuno Santos (year 12, Porto). They were prepared and selected by the Escola Delfos of the University of Coimbra. Nuno Santos, Henrique Aguiar and Francisco Andrade earned bronze medals while Henrique Santos got a honourable mention.
This year's IMO took place in Chiang Mai, Thailand, July 4-16.
