Description: |
In this talk I shall present new nonlinear differential-difference equations related to the second Painlevé equation. I shall also review the basics of Nevanlinna theory (notation, examples and main theorems) and show how it can be applied to the study value distribution and growth of solutions of the Painlevé equations. Moreover, I shall explain how the recurrence coeffcients of certain orthogonal polynomials are related to the Painlevé equations.
