In this talk we shall describe the possible feedback invariants of linear systems obtained as a result of series connections of two linear systems. This corresponds to a completion problem for matrices. We solve the problem in a generic case, and we conjecture general solution. It turns out that the Littlewood-Richardson coefficients are of central importance in the general case. In particular some interesting purely combinatorial properties and conjectures about Littlewood-Richardson coefficients and its generalizations appear.
